The mostly friendly and warm summer weather will continue at midweek (Wednesday). The risk for thunderstorms will locally increase as the day goes by, especially towards the main Alpine ridge. Dry conditions are quite often expected throughout the entire day. Thursday will bring unstable summer weather, as the western upper current will bring significantly more unstable air to the Alpine region. The cloudiness will increase and scattered thundery rain showers will interfere with the weather as the day goes by. The temperatures will only slightly decrease. Longer sunny and warmer conditions are expected on Friday. An increasing high-pressure influence from the west is responsible for that and the weekend promises midsummer weather. The 30-degrees-mark may be hit in the lowlands.
