High spirits in summer in St. Anton am Arlberg
Hiking at high altitudes is well-known for the very positive health benefits it brings. And the beautiful wonders of nature are an inspiration to embark on all sorts of explorations. The Arlberg is the perfect area for such explorations because the mountain landscape here has everything, from gentle hikes across mountain pastures to extreme tours in the rugged mountains. This means families can choose a pleasant circular hiking trail, whilst extreme mountain climbers come back each year to try to beat their personal best. But when they start to feel hungry, they’re all drawn to the irresistible mountain inns where they can enjoy local delicacies such as Arlberg “Marend”, a platter of cold cuts and cheese.

the aim is to search for animals hidden in the forest, while children can go on a voyage of discovery along the Mutspuren trail.

The Alpenrosenweg
The hike along the Alpenrosenweg trail on the Rendl offers an overwhelming interplay of colours. It takes you along a veritable sea of flowering heathers and it looks as though the mountain is aflame. From 2,100 m above sea level, you can also enjoy fascinating views over the whole Stanzer Tal valley.

25 Mountain Film Festival
26 - 29 August 2020 in St. Anton am Arlberg
In several outdoor movies we show athletes doing their adventure sports all over the globe – and they have one thing in common: they will all enter our Film Festival-stage for interviews! Central sports will be rock climbing and freeriding, and we are proud to be able to welcome a number of international top athletes in these disciplines, who all have shaped and developed their sports.

Tavolata Galzig
Ein Berg. Eine lange, weiß gedeckte Tafel. Feine Aromen in der Luft. Gläser, die in der Sonne funkeln. Und eine Kulisse, wie sie nur die Alpen schaffen können.
Am Samstag, 22. August 2026, lädt das STANTON CULINARY COLLECTIVE (SCC) zu einer außergewöhnlichen Tavolata hoch über St. Anton am Arlberg ein. Auf dem Galzig, wo der Blick weit über die Bergwelt schweift, entsteht für einen Sommertag ein besonderer Ort des Genusses: eine lange, weiß gedeckte Tafel mitten in der alpinen Landschaft – geschaffen für gemeinsames Essen, Lachen, Teilen, Anstoßen und unvergessliche Genussmomente.
Arlberger Wadlbeisser
Am 29. August 2026 verwandelt sich St. Anton am Arlberg in eine spektakuläre Kulisse für das Hindernisrennen „Arlberger Wadlbeisser“. Der anspruchsvolle Parcours mit Wasserhindernissen, Kletterelementen und Holzwänden verlangt Kraft, Ausdauer und Teamgeist. Entlang der Strecke sorgen beeindruckende Panoramablicke und Sehenswürdigkeiten für ein besonderes Rennerlebnis. Für Hobby-Sportler:innen gibt es zudem eine „Just for fun“-Teamwertung.
